The International Art Contest

It starts at the beginning of each school year when we invite kindergartens, schools and other institutions from Slovenia and abroad to send us the artworks of their children, students and users.

Each year they can create pictures on two different topics; one is ‘Play with me’ and the other one is different each year.

The artworks are sent from all parts of Slovenia and also from abroad! Our team carefully examines them and with the help of Neja Kajs, custos, we choose which artworks will be exhibited.

Who is a custos?

A custos is a person who is employed at a museum or at a gallery.

The chosen artworks are then exhibited at the art opening. If you want to know more about it, read HERE.
